“I seek refuge in God from the way this world changes our hearts and from being consumed by anything but honest love.”
I had to pause and reflect. Since then I couldn't stop thinking about that statement. I can't help but internalise how essential this supplication is in everyday life. A heart that constantly changes, sometimes for the better and other times for the lesser. It has the tendency to slowly change in dispositions, feelings and inclinations based on different life circumstances. But to sum it all up, a far greater force is to remember that every heart is in God's Hands and He alone beautifully turns it in ways He sees fit. So ask Him for a firmer resolve and trueness of whatever goodness lies within your very heart.
