I think the greatest part of what we assume in life is our understanding of happenings. We think we know the motive or purpose behind certain events when, in actual reality, we do not. We can't comprehend the bigger picture. We see only a tiny perspective and think it's the whole thing. We cannot begin to decipher the majestic wisdom of Allāh. It is far too astonishing for the human mind to grasp.
Then once we come to this recognition and awareness, our hearts begin to embark on a journey of core humility that ascends to higher levels of consciousness. For no one truly knows what is kept in store of perpetual goodness, elevated standings that are richly embedded in the lowest valleys of one's difficulties and trials.
