FAVOURS UNAWARE

I think sometimes in life, opportunities come to us when we least expect them to, at a time we very much least anticipate. They present themselves at our most unexpected, relaxed selves, without even labouring for them, not in thoughts or actions. I think it isn't as frequent as opportunities we effortfully seek out, which is of course a part of living. But then, as we bravely choose to grab those openings, we realize how essential, helpful they are to us and how hugely they turn out to be — just exactly what we need at the moment, which is like one of the many non-enumerable blessings from God to us.
