I think it's always important to be a good person at heart. Someone who harbours nothing but beautiful and positive intentions towards others. In that way, God gives the merciful grace of coming across people who are righteous, who desire absolutely nothing but your relevant welfare and greater goodness. And even when you come cross those who aren't as noble, otherwise not so good in qualities, you end up being the better human, someone of far more expansive nature and refined spirit.
